Rövid leírás:
This is the second of three volumes on the collected works of A.K. Dasgupta, who laid the foundations of modern economics in India, a pioneer of development economics and one of India’s greatest social thinkers. Dasgupta’s motivation came from his observations of the contemporary world; in particular, of events unfolding in the Indian economy in the post-Independence era. Readers will have a deeper understanding of the underlying structure of the Indian economy in
the post-War years.
The volume is introduced by the author’s son Partha Dasgupta, Frank Ramsey Professor of Economics, Cambridge University.
